TheGerman speakingBusiness Development Managerrole identifies, engages, and establishes commercial relationships with Marketplaceprospects andfuture merchants, aggregators, partners, and strategic key accounts, which willonboard on to the Kingfisher banner marketplaces.The role willbe key to drive the growthaccelerationof each of our local banners.

Thisrolesitswithin our Marketplace Group team and the candidate will need to have a strong sales appetite withcommercial sense and vision.German market knowledge and language is a must for the role. The position can be based from any of our locations.

• Manage the end-to-end sales cycleforGermanmerchants to come onboard the Kingfisher Marketplaces (B&Q,BricotDepot Iberia, Castorama Poland, Castorama France).
• You will be responsible to establish a clear strategy for the recruitment of these merchants. Thereafter, you’ll present to banner leaders and need togettheir approvals. You willthenhave full ownership ofthe execution / implementation of this strategy.

Marketplace Merchants Recruitment

• Inbound and Outbound Lead generation

• Lead Qualification and nurturing of cold prospects

• Identify potential high-quality leads (merchants) to join ourbannermarketplaces.

• Building a strong pipeline ofGermanprospects within eligible categories for our banner marketplaces.

• Deliveringand exceedingonreach out and contract signed targets throughdedicated recruitment strategy

Buildastrong ecosystem enabling the recruitment ofGermanmerchants.

• Identify potential partners, engage negotiations and definethe strategywhich will allow toreach agreements. These will allow for us to build a strong ecosystem /channelto source merchantsand get them onboard our banner marketplaces.

• Develop strategic partnerships with agencies, aggregators specialized on theGermanmarket (forexample:Feedonomics,Linnworks, chamber of commerce, etc.)

• Experience within marketplace with strong proven record ofexceedingsales performance, business developmentoraccount management as an individual contributor.

• Experience working withGerman-based brands / businesses / merchants.
• Fluent in German is crucial.

• Track record of successful internal and external relationship management.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range ofstakeholderswith different skill sets and backgrounds.

• Exposure to working with global teams in other locations– i.e. Germany, France, Poland, Spain, Portugal, UK.
