Business Development Executive

Our client is looking for an energetic, commercially-minded Business Development Executive to represent their award-winning waste and recycling brand across Chesterfield & Surrounding Areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the face of our clients in your local patch, identifying and converting new business opportunities
• Promote their total waste solutions, including specialist compaction services
• Carry out around 10 quality site visits a day, building trusted relationships with commercial clients
• Structure your own working week while delivering outstanding results
• Hold a weekly one-to-one meeting with the Head of Sales (Waste) to review progress and strategy
• Participate in monthly sales meetings to share best practice and stay aligned with company goals
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best service for your clients

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing B2B roles
• Confident, bubbly, and persuasive personality - people should love talking to you
• Strong resilience and tenacity - you'll thrive on chasing down leads and closing deals
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ideally based in or around Chesterfield, with a good knowledge of the local area
