JOB TITLE: Administrator Immediate Start

LOCATION: Bridgwater

HOURLY RATE: 13.45 per hour

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am till 5pm

We're recruiting for a proactive and personable individual to join a well-respected not-for-profit organisation in Bridgwater, renowned for the valuable services it provides. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, close-knit, and supportive team, where no two days are the same and your contribution will make a real difference to the smooth running of the department. Offering a varied role this position is initially temporary with the opportunity to become permanent following a successful 12-week period. To be considered, you must be available to start immediately or be on a short notice period.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with answering calls for the department
• Manage ordering of stationery and other office items
• Review assessments and attendance records to ensure all requirements have been met.
• Process and issue certificates and diplomas accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate results to relevant organisations and awarding bodies.
• Coordinate tutor allocation and schedule classes, liaising with tutors and venues.
• Maintain and update CRM systems and databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
• Build strong relationships with external organisations.

KEY SKILLS:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Competent and confident user of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Confident and proactive, with a positive approach to problem-solving
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Customer-focused and committed to providing outstanding student support
• Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
• Keen to learn, develop and take ownership of their responsibilities
