Block Property Manager

Sammons Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established property business for an experienced and proactive BlockProperty Manager to join a busy property team in Eastbourne.

You’ll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of properties, working alongside another Block Property Manager to provide a professional and responsive service to landlords, leaseholders and tenants. This role would suit someone with strong residential property management experience who is confident managing AGMs and Section 20 consultation processes and is comfortable taking ownership of their portfolio.

Job type: Full-time, permanent; Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm; Location: Eastbourne; Salary: up to £38,000 p/a (dependent on experience).

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of residential block properties
• Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
• Coordinating maintenance, repairs and contractors
• Managing tenancy processes and ensuring relevant documentation is maintained
• Carrying out property inspections and following up on any issues
• Handling tenant and landlord queries promptly and professionally
• Managing day-to-day property administration
• Working closely with another Property Manager to ensure the wider portfolio runs smoothly
• Dealing with issues and resolving problems efficiently
• Ensuring properties remain compliant with relevant legislation and company procedures

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience in property management
• Proven experience organising and attending AGMs
• Strong understanding and practical experience of Section 20 processes
• Experience managing your own property portfolio
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident dealing with landlords, leaseholders, tenants and contractors
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently
