About the role. . We are looking for a skilled and motivated barista to prepare high-quality coffee, maintain consistency, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced specialty coffee and bakery environment.. .
Key responsibilities. .
Prepare espresso-based drinks to a high standard, including dialling in, consistency, and timing.
Brew V60 and batch filter coffee according to established recipes.
Maintain coffee quality throughout the day through grind adjustments and calibration.
Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Process POS transactions accurately using Square.
Keep the bar and service areas clean, organised, and well presented.
Support the front-of-house team during busy periods.
Complete opening and closing procedures.
Assist with stock control and report low inventory.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Taking orders and deliver the drinks to the table . .
Requirements. .
Previous barista experience in a specialty coffee environment is preferred.
Good understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
