Business Development Lead – Corporate

We are exclusively leading on one of the most unique opportunities in the market today, partnered with one of the fastest growing UK law firms in the market, in search of a Business Development Leader to lead their commercial growth within their flagship Corporate & Commercial Services Group. This firm has been through an extraordinary transitional phase, with a heavy focus on building sophisticated go-to market strategies, within a highly proactive environment off the back of sustained growth. This is a newly created position and is a highly crucial role in the firms new structure, which will see you leading the largest practice group in terms of headcount, and revenue figures.

This is a highly unique opportunity with strong autonomy, and would be fantastic for a candidate who is passionate about driving impactful business development strategies and has a strong understanding of the Corporate market landscape.

Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer, responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing proactive business development strategies for the division, that is focused around commercial growth, client targeting, and delivering on high-value propositions, that will ultimately align with the firms strategy.
• Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with key client, and acts as a trusted advisor to both external clients, and partners targeting particular prospect clients.
• Building the firms brand and market presence though the delivery of thought leadership, industry events, publications and representing the firm within sector forums and associations.
• Line management of a high-performing team, which includes both corporate practice business development specialists, as well as bid specialist, ensuring they are coached and mentored effectively.
