Health & Safety Coordinator

Health & Safety Coordinator - Blandford - up to £32,000 per annum

Up to £32,000 for a Health & Safety Coordinator who takes pride in getting the detail right, every time. You'll be the person people turn to for clear, accurate answers on safety compliance. A role where your engineering or manufacturing background finally gets put to proper use.

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will benefit from:

• Genuine autonomy to manage your own workload and priorities
• Ongoing training and development to build your health and safety expertise
• A supportive management structure with clear reporting lines
• Set hours with an early finish on Fridays: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 4pm
• A stable, established manufacturing employer

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate health and safety compliance across site, maintaining accurate records including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work
• Carry out regular floor walkthroughs, engaging directly with production staff to check safety procedures are being followed
• Support incident investigations and track corrective and preventive actions through to completion
• Coordinate inductions, equipment training and occupational health clinics
• Assist with internal and external audits, following up on any non-conformances
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports for the business

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your experience will include:

• A background in engineering or manufacturing, with the confidence to engage shop floor teams on safety matters
• A genuine interest in health and safety; any exposure or a relevant qualification is a bonus, not a requirement
• Comfortable with Excel and general admin, keeping accurate, well-organised records
• A clear, confident communicator who can hold their own on the factory floor

If you're ready to put your manufacturing background to good use somewhere your accuracy and consistency are genuinely valued, this is worth a conversation.
