We’re partnering with a leading digital consultancy to scale a high-profile delivery team supporting a major Central Government department.
We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Data Analyst to build and refine data products and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insight and support strategic decision-making.
What you’ll be doing:
Build, develop and refine Power BI dashboards and reports.
Work with complex datasets to identify trends and generate meaningful insights.
Develop effective data models and visualisations within Power BI.
Use SQL to query, manipulate and extract data.
Translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams and in line with GDS standards.
Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Data Analyst / BI Analyst.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling and visualisation.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience working within UK Central Government / public sector environments – essential.
Experience working to GDS standards and within Agile delivery teams.
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
Central Government experience is essential for this position.
