As an Import / Export Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing import and export activities in line with UK and international trade regulations
• Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining customs documentation, including commercial invoices and export declarations
• Coordinating customs clearance with brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies
• Providing oversight of daily shipping activities to ensure priority shipments are dispatched on time
• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving transportation or documentation issues
• Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for import and export activities

As an Import / Export Specialist, your experience will include:

• A strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures
• Previous experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Confidence using ERP and shipping systems
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant import/export, customs, or logistics qualifications desirable, though not essential
