Academics is looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our Romford office. This is a great opportunity for someone with administration experience, or a recent graduate looking to start their career in a professional environment.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the education professionals we place into schools are fully vetted and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing candidate compliance records
• Processing DBS applications and checks
• Requesting and chasing references
• Checking Right to Work and identity documentation
• Working closely with recruitment consultants
• Communicating with candidates, schools and other organisations by phone and email
• Working towards compliance targets and KPIs
• Ensuring records are accurate and up to date

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in administration, customer service or a similar office-based role - recent graduates are also welcome
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable managing high volumes of information
• Confident communicating by phone and email
• Able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
• A proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Comfortable working towards targets

Previous recruitment or compliance experience isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and keen to learn.
