Prospero Teaching are seeking an adaptable Secondary Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Wrexham.

We're looking for an educator who can build positive relationships, deliver structured tuition and adapt sessions according to the learner's individual strengths and areas for development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition
• Support relevant secondary curriculum subjects
• Plan engaging and differentiated sessions
• Identify and address learning gaps
• Adapt teaching according to learner progress
• Encourage confidence and positive learning habits
• Provide feedback on progress and engagement

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners
• Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible and engaging teaching style
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional child-related references
