Treasury Accountant

As a Treasury Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the business's financial health. This position is central to maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights in the financial services industry.

Description

• Daily cash management and cash flow monitoring
• Bank reconciliations and treasury accounting entries
• Managing payments, receipts, and banking platforms
• Supporting liquidity and funding reporting
• Accounting for loans, deposits, investments, and intercompany funding
• Assisting with foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate hedge accounting
• Preparing treasury-related month-end and year-end journals
• Producing treasury reports for management, auditors, and regulators
• Supporting compliance with treasury policies and controls

Profile

A successful Treasury Accountant should have:

• A strong background in financial services or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
• Experience with treasury operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary ranging from £76,500 to £85,500, dependent on the level of experience.
