Planning & Delivery Manager - Rail

Location: Plumstead, London
Rate: £463.40/day Umbrella
Duration: Contract

We are currently recruiting for 3 Planning & Delivery Managers to support an infrastructure maintenance delivery team within the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule rail infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Create and manage safe work packs.
• Support possession planning and work allocation.
• Manage work orders and maintenance planning activities.
• Attend planning and maintenance delivery meetings.
• Work closely with planners and delivery managers to support the wider planning function.

Essential Requirements

• Previous rail planning experience .
• Network Rail Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP) competence .
• Valid PTS and Sentinel Card .
• Experience creating safe work packs .
• Experience with possession planning .
• Knowledge of railway safety standards.
• Understanding of railway systems including track, signalling, stations, power and fleet.
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and SharePoint .

Desirable

• Experience using PPS, Maximo, Ellipse, SAP or similar asset management systems .
• Experience working with Network Rail, London Underground or Elizabeth Line interfaces .
• Knowledge of Central Access Systems .

Location: This is a fully site-based role at Plumstead Depot, Monday-Friday. No hybrid working is available.
