We are seeking an experienced Cable Project Manager to lead the delivery of 132kV cable infrastructure projects across the UK. The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle from design and planning through construction, testing, commissioning and energisation, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of HV/EHV cable projects from inception through to completion.
Manage project programmes, budgets, forecasts and resource requirements.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design, commercial, construction and commissioning functions.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
Oversee subcontractors, suppliers and specialist cable installation teams.
Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, industry standards and company procedures.
Review and approve RAMS, project documentation and construction programmes.
Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
Ensure successful testing, commissioning and energisation of cable systems.
Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
Support commercial management, change control and NEC contract administration.
