IT Supplier Manager

Location: Reading
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: Up to £88 per hour, Inside IR35 (DOE)
Clearance: Active SC or DV required

We are seeking an experienced IT Supplier Manager to join our team on an initial 6-month contract in Reading.

You will support the definition and delivery of the IT supplier strategy and management framework , working closely with Digital Information leadership, business stakeholders and external suppliers. The role covers the full supplier lifecycle, including supplier selection, procurement, contract negotiation, performance management and offboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and execute the IT supplier strategy in line with technology and Value Stream roadmaps.
• Manage key relationships between internal stakeholders and IT suppliers.
• Support tender processes, commercial negotiations and contract renewals.
• Manage day-to-day supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs and contractual obligations .
• Identify and resolve supplier service gaps, risks, compliance issues and performance concerns.
• Lead and participate in supplier performance reviews, CABs and IT operations meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost effectiveness and service quality.

Key Experience

• 3+ years' experience in IT supplier management , covering supplier selection, contracting, performance management and offboarding.
• Experience developing and executing IT supplier strategies , ideally within a regulated environment such as Aerospace & Defence.
• Strong commercial and contract negotiation experience, preferably internationally.
• Good understanding of IT compliance, risk and regulatory requirements .
• Strong knowledge of the IT supplier landscape, including System Integrators (SIs) .
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
