Channel Development Manager – IT Hardware

Location: Hybrid & Field Based

Salary: £50000 to £70000+ Commission/Bonus + Benefits

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Channel Development Manager to join a growing IT leasing business and play a key role in developing its presence across the IT reseller and channel market.

This is very much a relationship-driven, field-based sales role. We are looking for someone who already knows the channel, comes with a strong book of contacts and established relationships, and can use that network to open doors and generate new business opportunities.

You’ll spend a significant amount of your time out in the market, visiting reseller partners, attending meetings and being onsite with the channel, becoming a trusted point of contact and developing long-term commercial relationships.

The Role

Working closely with IT resellers and channel partners, you will be responsible for:

Developing new business across the IT reseller and channel market
Leveraging your existing network and book of channel contacts to open new opportunities
Building and developing strong relationships with reseller partners
Regularly being out on the road meeting partners face-to-face and onsite
Promoting IT leasing and finance solutions as part of the reseller's overall customer proposition
Working closely with partners to identify opportunities where leasing can help them secure and grow business
Developing existing relationships to increase deal flow and revenue
Becoming a trusted commercial partner to key contacts across the channel
Attending meetings, networking events and industry functions
Taking ownership of your channel relationships and driving new business through them

About You

We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have:

A strong background within the IT channel, reseller or technology sector
An established book of contacts within the reseller/channel community
A proven ability to develop relationships and turn them into commercial opportunities
Experience working in channel development, account management, business development or sales
A genuinely relationship-led approach to business development
The confidence and credibility to engage with senior decision-makers
The motivation to be out and about meeting partners, rather than relying purely on telephone or Teams-based sales
A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to develop a territory and network

Previous experience within IT leasing, asset finance or technology finance would be beneficial, but equally important is having the right network within the IT channel and the ability to develop those relationships into revenue.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established channel professional who wants the autonomy to use their network and relationships to build something.

You’ll have the freedom to be out in the market, meeting the channel, developing partnerships and creating opportunities, with the backing of an established IT leasing proposition.
