Senior Technician

Talentmark are recruiting for a Senior Laboratory Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is fully site based in Reading.

Salary:

£17.09 per hour PAYE

Laboratory Technician Role:

• Perform a range of routine analyses such as HPLC or LC-MS.
• To perform analytical work following validation protocols.
• Perform Lab admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Assist with the documentation of SOPs for simple equipment and tests and the generation of Risk Assessments and COSHH.

Background:

• Hold a relevant qualification in a scientific subject or have equivalent working experience.
• Hands‑on experience with HPLC and/or LC-MS.
• Have a good understanding of GMP, preferably in the food industry.
• OpenLAB software experience would be highly beneficial.
• Well‑organised and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently.
• Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions.
