A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (10+ PQE) to join its growing Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to manage a high-quality caseload while playing a key role in the continued development of a successful department. The position offers exposure to a broad range of private client matters, working with individuals, families, business owners, and high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction to completion.
Advising on wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
Providing guidance on succession planning and wealth preservation strategies.
Handling lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships.
Supporting and mentoring junior fee earners and support staff.
Assisting with business development and networking initiatives.
Ensuring the highest standards of client care and technical excellence.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 10+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts, tax planning, and estate administration.
Ability to manage complex matters independently.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Supervisory or mentoring experience desirable.
STEP qualification or progress towards STEP advantageous.
Commercially minded with an interest in business development.
