Head of Finance

Office arrangement: on site to start then hybrid.

They are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Group Head of Finance to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in the next stage of the Group’s growth.

This is a broad role covering financial control, group reporting, cash flow, investor distributions, budgeting, financial modelling and fundraising support, with significant exposure to the CEO, Board, investors and external advisers.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the Group finance function across multiple entities
• Lead management accounts, group reporting and statutory compliance
• Oversee VAT, tax, audit and financial controls
• Manage cash-flow forecasting and investor distributions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Support acquisitions, fundraising and investor due diligence
• Develop finance systems, processes and reporting as the business scales
• Present financial performance and insights to the Board and senior stakeholders

Looking for:

• Strong group accounting and technical finance experience
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience managing external accountants, auditors and advisers
• Ideally experience within property, private equity, investment management, infrastructure or another investor-backed environment
