An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Construction & Engineering solicitor (4+ years PQE) to join a well-regarded legal team in Southampton. This role offers a chance to work on a diverse range of construction projects, advising national developers, funders, landlords, contractors, and consultants. The team operates across commercial and residential developments, infrastructure, mixed-use projects, offshore wind farms, and leisure developments.

The Role

The successful candidate will have experience in either contentious or non-contentious construction matters (ideally both), with the ability to problem-solve and manage caseloads effectively. Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating contracts, consultant agreements, collateral warranties, and third-party rights.
• Advising clients through all phases of development, from planning to completion.
• Handling dispute resolution and risk mitigation strategies.
• Contributing to business development and expanding industry networks.
