9B Careers is working with an AJ100 architectural practice in London, looking for an experienced Technical Architect or Architectural Technician with a strong residential background.
The role will focus on taking projects through the technical stages, with the opportunity to contribute to design development during the earlier stages where appropriate.
The Role
Develop residential projects through RIBA Stages 3 and 4 onwards
Lead the technical development and delivery of projects
Produce and coordinate detailed architectural information
Work closely with consultants and project teams
Develop technical solutions for complex residential projects
Contribute to façade and interior design where relevant
Support early-stage design development where required
Coordinate design information to ensure a high-quality technical outcome
About You
6+ years' post-qualification experience
Strong experience working on residential projects
Proven residential experience, preferably high-end residential, from Stage 4 onwards, ideally developing detailed design for interiors
Higher Risk Building design experience preferred
Strong presenter, good communicator and team player
Sound understanding of current design standards and regulations
Proficient in Revit, rendering and presentation software
