Daisy Green Food is an independent London-based hospitality group bringing relaxed, vibrant Australian food and coffee culture to the city. Founded in 2012 by Prue Freeman and Tom Onions, we've grown from street food beginnings into a collection of unique cafés, restaurants and venues across London — each one individually designed to become a true local destination.

Our menus are made in-house from fresh, seasonal ingredients, blending Mediterranean flavours with Asian influences. Quality and simplicity are at the heart of everything we cook. THE ROLE

As General Manager, you'll take full ownership of your venue — leading your team with confidence, consistency and warmth. You'll set the standard for what great looks like: operationally sharp, commercially aware, and always putting people first.

This is a hands‑on role. You'll step into any position on the floor when the business needs it, and you'll build a team capable of running smoothly in your absence. You'll drive performance through clear communication, honest feedback and a genuine belief in the people around you.

You'll bring a thorough understanding of our systems, financials and company standards — monitoring COGS and labour daily, weekly and monthly — while ensuring your management team is fully trained to do the same. And you'll deliver the Daisy Green experience every guest deserves: warm, energetic and genuinely unconditional.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth, consistent delivery of company standards
• Motivate, coach and develop the team to achieve sales targets and maintain excellence
• Step confidently into any position within the restaurant when required
• Maintain outstanding product knowledge across all food and beverage offerings
• Ensure full compliance with the Daisy Green Allergy Policy
• Uphold all health & safety and food hygiene regulations
• Manage staffing levels reactively and proactively, including rota planning and cover
• Oversee ordering, stock control and inventory management
• Monitor and manage financial performance, including labour and cost of goods
• Produce and review reports in line with company expectations
