North West England (Manchester hub - also open to candidates commuting from Leeds or Liverpool)

We're recruiting on behalf of a thriving, well-established pensions and employee benefits consultancy for an Actuarial Director to join their Consulting and Actuarial team.

The Role:

• Strategically manage client relationships — overseeing delivery of work, implementing client advice and agreeing fee structures
• Drive business development — contributing to business plan development, building a client portfolio and identifying new business opportunities
• Manage staff — setting targets for direct reports, supporting recruitment and retention, and helping develop the wider team

What we're looking for:

• An experienced Actuary with expert knowledge of the UK Actuarial and DB Pensions market
• Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA)
• Strong awareness of the industry landscape, including competitor businesses and services
• Previous people management experience
