Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
• MBBS or equivalent
• Must be entered on the specialist register (or entry within 6 months)
• ATSM in Advanced Labour Ward Practice

Desirable criteria

• Teaching Qualification e.g. PGCert
• Medical Leadership
• Maternal Medicine ATSM
• Advanced antenatal care ATSM

Experience and Skills

Essential criteria

• Experience working within NHS
• Ability to deal with common obstetric emergency presentations
• Teaching experience (undergraduate or postgraduate)

Desirable criteria

• OSCE Examiner
• Obstetric USS skills
