Are you an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in winning new business?

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive dealer group for an ambitious and commercially driven Local Business Development Manager to cover Wimbledon, Epsom & Surrey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships and creating new business opportunities. You'll have the freedom to manage and develop your own territory, while being supported by an established dealership network and a comprehensive range of automotive products and services.

The Role

As Local Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to grow the local business and fleet customer base by identifying new prospects, developing relationships and converting opportunities into long-term customers.

You'll work with businesses across the region, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions across New and Used Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles, as well as Aftersales and Parts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively identifying and winning new business across Wimbledon, Epsom & Surrey
• Building and developing a strong local business and fleet customer database
• Prospecting through telephone, email, networking and face-to-face visits
• Developing long-term relationships with business customers
• Managing the complete sales process from initial enquiry through to completion
• Identifying opportunities within existing accounts to increase customer spend
• Working closely with dealership teams to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Managing your own diary, territory and sales pipeline
• Consistently achieving agreed sales and business development targets

About You

Our client is looking for an experienced sales professional who is confident, self-motivated and enjoys the challenge of developing new business.

You'll ideally have at least 2 years' sales experience, with experience in automotive, B2B, fleet, business development or another target-driven sales environment being advantageous.

We're particularly interested in speaking to candidates who can demonstrate:

• A full UK driving licence

37,000 Basic Salary + 60,000 OTE
