This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in promoting student welfare, encouraging positive behaviours, and helping students thrive both academically and personally within a residential environment. As part of the Safeguarding and Wellbeing team, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive community where students can develop confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a positive and inclusive residential environment where students feel safe, supported, and valued
  • Organise and supervise social, sporting, and volunteering activities that enhance the student experience
  • Provide pastoral care and act as a trusted point of contact for students' wellbeing needs

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, carers, and external agencies to support student success and welfare
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a respectful residential community

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a similar role supporting young people
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Confidence to challenge inappropriate behaviour in a professional and constructive manner

Desirable

  • Experience within an educational or residential setting

Why Apply?

  • Make a real difference to students' lives and personal development
  • Varied and rewarding role with no two days the same
  • Opportunity to contribute to an outstanding student experience
  • Competitive salary and benefits package

If you have a passion for supporting young people and helping create a thriving residential community, we'd love to hear from you.
