Production Manager

As Production Manager , you'll set the standard, lead from the front and drive results across delivery, quality, productivity and budget.

As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach and develop team leaders and the supervisory team, including recruitment, performance reviews and weekly briefings
• Drive a structured continuous improvement programme, using performance data to deliver measurable gains
• Take overall responsibility for operational performance, managing costs and risks against financial and operational targets
• Oversee stock control, including weekly Kanban checks and accurate part scanning
• Manage facilities, building maintenance, external contractors and third-party service providers
• Ensure waste management, testing and calibration meet ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards

As a Production Manager, your experience will include:

• A proven track record in production management within a manufacturing or service workshop environment
• A technical qualification equivalent to a HND or Degree , or equivalent experience in a technical production environment
• A recognised management or supervisory qualification , or equivalent workshop training
• Strong commercial acumen and evidence of leading organisational change
• Confident use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• A full UK driving licence
