Our client, a global financial powerhouse , is redesigning the blueprint for the BPA and de-risking space and has huge ambitions ,alongside the capital, to back them up.

It is now looking for a commercially sharp , technically brilliant actuary to join its BPA team in a highly visible Associate Director role where you will support pioneering ways to leverage deep asset experience for competitive advantage, whilst utilising unique sources of capital.

What impact will I make?

• Drive End-to-End Pricing: Take ownership of pricing for high-value BPAs and running complex de-risking solutions.
• Pioneer Novel Structures: Lead the development of cutting-edge bulk annuity transaction structures, reinsurance solutions and novel product lines.
• Transform Infrastructure: Act as a key stakeholder in developing and enhancing modelling capabilities and building innovative tech solutions across the pricing infrastructure.
• Visible Leadership: Influence senior stakeholders and play a central role in executing an ambitious growth agenda.

What will I bring to the role?

• Core Expertise: Solid experience across bulk annuity pricing, funded reinsurance, longevity reinsurance or life insurance balance sheet management.
• Commercial Mindset: The ability to look beyond the models, see the bigger financial picture and drive the division’s competitive advantage.
• Technical Excellence: A sharp analytical mind, passionate about developing sophisticated tech and modelling solutions.
• Bonus Points: A strong understanding of UK DB pensions, alongside Solvency II / UK life insurance regulations.
