Account Specialist

Account Specialist

• Location: Peterborough, England, United Kingdom (On-site)
• Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per week (Monday – Friday)
• Flexibility: 8 hours per day 7am to 4pm
• Position Type: Engagement, Administrative and Growth

Are You the Ultimate "Go-To" Person?

We aren’t looking for a typical recruiter. We are looking for an On-Site Operations Guru and a master of client and worker engagement.

You will be the backbone of our presence at one of our most prestigious client sites in Peterborough, ensuring every worker’s journey from day one to their last is seamless, organized, and positive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will split your time between face-to-face stakeholder engagement and keeping our back office systems running like clockwork. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Worker & Client Engagement: Act as the primary face of the service. You will manage daily worker engagement for temporary staff, host face-to-face client service meetings, and run "worker surgeries" to solve day-to-day workplace hurdles.
• The Onboarding Architect: You'll ensure that all new starters have the best start in their new role by meeting with them regularly throughout their first few weeks.
• System & Data Specialist: Maintain 100% accurate live data within our systems and databases.
• Lifecycle & ER Management: Conduct regular formal check-ins with staff, proactively handle assignment extensions, manage Employee Relations (ER) cases, and oversee the end-to-end leaver process.
• Account Knowledge Specialist: You'll use your position on site to gain knowledge and report back to the Account Manager to support our growth and relationship objectives.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

• Working with a great client: You'll be based at the heart of our clients operations in Peterborough.
• Global Impact: You’ll be joining Randstad, one of the world's largest, leading recruitment organizations, gaining invaluable experience with enterprise-level technology and world-class clients.
• Autonomy with your schedule: You'll be empowered to make this role your own, creating your own daily work and engagement schedules.

Who You Are:

• People Person (Without the Pitch): You genuinely enjoy helping people, managing stakeholders, and resolving employee issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Admin Guru: You have a "black belt" in administration, high attention to detail, and top-tier data management skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Experience with software, or advanced databases is a massive win. If not, you are the type of person who easily picks up new software in an afternoon.
• Proactive Problem Solver: You are organized, dependable, and thrive when taking ownership of the operational side of a busy account.

Inclusivity Statement: We are an inclusive employer. Should you require any reasonable adjustments in order to complete any aspect of the recruitment process, please reach out to our Internal Talent Acquisition team, and we will be happy to support you.
