We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing renewable energy business, working on ground-mounted solar PV projects.
The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating contractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities.
Coordinate site logistics, resources and project schedules.
Act as the main on-site contact for clients, contractors and suppliers.
Monitor progress, costs and project milestones.
Ensure HSQE and CDM requirements are maintained across site.
Carry out site inspections and address any issues or risks.
Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Senior Project Manager.
Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover.
Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
Requirements
5+ years' experience in site-based project management, ideally within renewables or solar PV.
Strong experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
SMSTS and First Aid essential.
IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Good understanding of UK construction and renewable energy regulations.
Experience using MS Project and other site management systems
