Pybus Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Brand & Media Manager for an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the launch and growth of a new brand within the UK market.

This is a high-profile position for an accomplished communications and media professional who can combine strategic thinking and creativity with strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills .

You’ll take the lead on brand campaigns, media strategy and investment, ensuring every pound of media spend works as effectively as possible to build brand awareness, familiarity and desirability , while also generating high-quality leads that contribute to sales performance.

From shaping the brand’s national media presence at launch to presenting investment strategy to senior leadership and analysing campaign performance, you’ll be at the heart of how UK consumers first discover and engage with the brand.

The Role

As Brand & Media Manager , your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development and execution of integrated media strategies across TV, digital, OOH, print, radio and emerging channels
• Managing creative, media and production agencies, ensuring close alignment with brand, product, digital marketing, PR and retail marketing teams
• Identifying and developing sponsorship, partnership and product-placement opportunities that increase brand awareness, credibility and cultural relevance
• Managing substantial media budgets with a strong focus on ROI, efficiency and financial control
• Ensuring campaigns and expenditure meet relevant industry, brand, regulatory and financial compliance requirements
• Keeping ahead of changing media trends, technologies and new opportunities within the UK automotive landscape
• Producing detailed post-buy and campaign analysis, translating results into clear recommendations for future investment
• Working closely with senior management on strategic media investment decisions, quarterly business reviews and executive presentations

About You

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• 5+ years’ experience within media buying, planning, communications or a closely related discipline
• Experience gained within automotive, consumer technology, FMCG or an agency environment
• Outstanding media, supplier and agency negotiation skills
• Experience briefing and managing creative and production agencies
• Strong project management and communication skills
• The confidence to engage with and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
• An open-minded, flexible and entrepreneurial mindset

Experience supporting a new brand launch or market entry would be particularly valuable, while previous experience within the automotive sector is highly desirable .
