Peaple Talent are partnered with an industry-leading, fast-growing commercial space transformation specialist looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join their business in Castleford.
In this role, you will take full operational leadership of a portfolio of fast-track mechanical, HVAC, decarbonisation, and asset replacement projects in live commercial environments, managing project teams and client relationships.
Requirements:
5+ years' experience as a Project Manager delivering mechanical, HVAC, heat pump, and building services projects.
Track record of managing multiple concurrent fast-track asset replacement or decarbonisation schemes
Strong commercial acumen with hands-on expertise managing CVRs, forecasting, change control, project margins, and sub-contractor packages.
Proven capability in direct client account management and leading Project Managers or site delivery teams.
Active SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities
Act as operational lead across allocated client accounts, driving portfolio delivery across commercial retail sites.
Oversee site surveys, design reviews, constructability assessments, and project mobilization to ensure clear scopes and programmes.
Own project and portfolio financial performance, managing budgets, CVRs, variations, and final accounts.
Direct and mentor Project Managers and delivery teams while managing sub-contractors and supplier relationships.
Drive right-first-time commissioning, quality management, and thorough documentation for seamless handovers.
