I’m currently working with a leading international law firm that is looking to appoint a Commercial Contracts Solicitor, ideally 3+ PQE , to join its established Birmingham team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Solicitor who enjoys the variety of a broad commercial practice and wants exposure to high-quality work within an international firm, while still maintaining a genuinely good work-life balance.

The role will have a strong focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts , working with a varied client base across a number of different sectors.

The role

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
• Advise clients on general commercial, contractual and strategic matters
• Manage your own matters with support from experienced Partners
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s UK and international network
• Develop direct relationships with clients and become a trusted commercial adviser
• Get involved in business development and wider team initiatives
• Build towards the next stage of your career with clear progression opportunities

What are they looking for?

You’ll ideally be a 3+ PQE Commercial Solicitor with experience advising on a broad range of commercial contracts.

The team is particularly interested in someone who enjoys general commercial work , rather than being restricted to one narrow specialism, and who wants to continue developing within a collaborative and supportive team.
