Retail Manager

Key Responsibilities

• - Manage the daily operations of the retail store and ensure smooth running of all activities..
• - Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail staff..
• - Recruit, train, and support employees to maintain high performance standards..
• - Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally..
• - Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving store targets and KPIs..
• - Manage stock levels, deliveries, replenishment, stock checks, and inventory control..
• - Ensure the store is clean, organised, well-presented, and compliant with company standards..
• - Manage staff rotas, attendance, holidays, and daily workloads..
• - Monitor cash handling, banking procedures, and daily financial controls..
• - Implement company promotions, merchandising standards, and marketing initiatives..
• - Monitor operating costs and help maximise store profitability..
• - Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements..
• - Prepare sales and performance reports for senior management..
• - Identify opportunities to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency..
• - Deal with operational issues quickly and effectively.
