FP&A / Finance & Business Analyst
West of England
Butler Rose are delighted again to be exclusively recruiting for an exciting FP&A / Finance & Business Analyst opportunity with an organisation…
As an FP&A Analyst within Lineage's Global Integrated Solutions (GIS) business, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our UK Road Transportation operations while contributing to FP&A activities across Europe, covering both Road Transportation and Freight Forwarding. Working in a matrix structure, you will combine hands‑on financial analysis with broader regional responsibilities. You will work closely with operational, commercial and finance teams to understand business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and turn financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. This is more than a reporting role. You will have the opportunity to challenge existing ways of working, improve processes and help move FP&A towards more automated, scalable and data‑driven solutions. The role also offers a clear development path towards a Senior Financial Analyst position, with increasing ownership and business partnering responsibilities.
Lineage is the world's largest and most innovative provider of temperature‑controlled logistics solutions - this means we help move food from farms to the dinner table, with more than 22,000 employees across over 450 locations and spanning 20 countries across North America, Europe, Asia‑Pacific, and South America.
We are a global company with more than 22,000 employees spanning 20 countries and more than 400 locations across North America, Europe, Asia‑Pacific, and South America. At Lineage Logistics, we have a shared purpose; we are transforming the food supply chain to eliminate waste and help feed the world. This means working at Lineage is not just a job – it's an opportunity to innovate and put your mark on how food moves from the farm to dinner tables around the world. As a member of our team, you will be a critical link in the food supply chain. Our shared purpose drives everything we do in all parts of our organisation, from the warehouse floor to the office. Our team members are passionate about the impact they make every single day.
Success means becoming a trusted finance partner to the UK Transportation leadership team and providing insights that help the business make better decisions. Within your first 12-24 months, you will have taken ownership of key elements of European FP&A reporting and analysis, delivered measurable improvements through automation and standardisation, and established strong relationships with operational, commercial and finance stakeholders. You will also have contributed to improving forecast quality, reporting efficiency and business insight across GIS – while building the experience and ownership needed to progress towards a Senior Financial Analyst position.
As a Lineage team member, we aim to provide everything you and your family need to thrive. That's why we offer competitive rates of pay, paid time off, skills training, and development opportunities to grow a long and fulfilling career with us. This is enhanced by recognition schemes (so that your hard work won't go unnoticed), plus the chance to make your salary go even further with our cycle‑to‑work scheme and preferential rates for loans and savings courtesy of a leading credit union.
