Commercial Property Solicitor
3yrs PQE + £75k plus bonus and hybrid working
Our Client are growing Legal 500-listed law firm with office's in London, is continuing to grow and is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Commercial Property Solicitor with 3-4+ years' PQE to join its established Property Department.
The role will offer exposure to a broad range of commercial property work, with additional opportunities to work with clients in the healthcare sector for example.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage your own caseload while working closely with Partners and senior lawyers on a variety of commercial property matters, including:
- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals and licences
- Property aspects of business sales and acquisitions
- Development and investment transactions
- Secured lending and refinancing
- Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
We are looking for a qualified solicitor with:
- 3-4+ years' PQE in commercial property
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- Experience managing a broad commercial property caseload with minimal supervision
- Good knowledge of landlord and tenant matters
- Some exposure to residential conveyancing
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- A proactive, collaborative and team-focused approach
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Healthcare property transactions
- Acting for dentists, GP practices, pharmacies or medical centres
- Healthcare premises acquisitions, disposals and leases
- Property finance and secured lending
- Property development and investment work
- Business development and maintaining a professional network
- Case management systems and digital working practices
