Job Description

Our client, a reputable provider of children’s residential care, is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a modern 3-bed children’s EBD home in Newport. This role offers the opportunity to lead a well-established team in a supportive, nurturing environment, ensuring high standards of care for young people aged 8 to 16.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the residential home to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
• Overseeing the care and development of young people, ensuring their needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with staff, young people, families, and external agencies.
• Managing staff recruitment, training, and performance to foster a motivated and professional team.
• Ensuring the home operates within budget and maintains high-quality care standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in children’s residential services.
• A Level 3 Children & Young People qualification, with a commitment to working towards Level 5 leadership and management qualification.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and full UK driving licence.
• Strong leadership skills and a passion for improving outcomes for young people.
