As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Conveyancing Solicitor to lead our Residential Conveyancing team based in Leicester. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical expertise, a client-focused approach, and the ability to inspire and manage a team of legal professionals.
Lead and manage the Residential Conveyancing team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to junior solicitors and conveyancers
Handle a caseload of complex and high-value residential property matters from instruction to completion
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, including Lexcel and CQS
Drive performance and productivity across the team while maintaining exceptional client service standards
Collaborate with other senior staff and partners to support strategic objectives and business development opportunities
Act as a key point of contact for clients, referrers, and other stakeholders
Skills, experience and attributes
Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing
Proven leadership and team management experience in a legal environment
Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to growing the team’s client base and enhancing service delivery
Strong business development and generation skills , with the ability to grow the Leicester team’s client base and develop new sources of work
