Here at GXO, we're looking for a First Line Manager to join our ASOS team in Doncaster , a high-profile eCommerce operation. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys developing people, driving performance, and delivering outstanding operational results. You'll play a pivotal role in leading a team of warehouse operatives and administrators, ensuring productivity, safety, service, and engagement targets are consistently achieved while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. With responsibility for people, processes, and performance, you'll be empowered to identify improvement opportunities and help shape the success of the operation.

This is a full time, permanent position working Friday to Monday on rotating shifts of 05:45-16:15 and 11:45-22:15.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse operatives and administrators to achieve operational objectives
• Monitor and drive KPIs, productivity, quality, and service performance across your area of responsibility
• Manage daily resource planning, headcount, and overtime to ensure cost-effective operations
• Champion health, safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards, creating a safe working environment for all colleagues
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, engagement, and operational performance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and engage teams to deliver results
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to take ownership and drive improvement
• Flexibility, resilience, and a genuine passion for operational excellence and people development
