Finance Business Partner - Hybrid

Reporting to senior leadership, the Finance Business Partner will join Sheridan Maine Midlands on a permanent, full-time basis in Wolverhampton, with hybrid working available. This commercial position sits at the centre of strategic decision-making, requiring an adviser who can influence, challenge and support stakeholders across the wider organisation. Duties include interpreting figures, highlighting risks and pinpointing where value can be created. This is far more than a reporting role. You'll be a trusted adviser, helping stakeholders understand what the numbers mean, what actions are needed and where opportunities exist to create value.

The Opportunity

• Partner with Directors and senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
• Turn complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance trends, helping leaders make informed decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for your areas of responsibility.
• Develop business cases, financial models and investment appraisals to support strategic initiatives.
• Present financial performance and recommendations to senior management teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting and business partnering activities.
• Use data and analysis to challenge assumptions, influence outcomes and improve business performance.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• An experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong track record in a complex and fast-paced organisation.
• Highly credible and comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious and naturally proactive.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to simplify complex financial data into actionable recommendations and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced in Excel.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or Power Pivot would also be beneficial but is not essential.
