Are you a commercially minded estates or property professional who wants to make a real difference in education and community life? Do you enjoy turning ideas into impactful projects while building partnerships that deliver meaningful outcomes? If so, this could be the role for you.
At Barnet and Southgate College, our work goes beyond buildings—we create spaces where people learn, grow and thrive. As Capital Projects & Commercial Property Manager, you will play a key role in shaping how our estate supports learners, staff and the wider community, while also unlocking new commercial opportunities that sustain and strengthen the College for the future.
This is a key estates leadership role where you will drive both commercial income and capital project delivery—maximising revenue through lettings, leases and partnerships while managing a portfolio of capital and refurbishment projects across a diverse, multi-site estate.
You’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders—from curriculum teams to external partners and contractors—ensuring that every project and partnership delivers quality, compliance and long-term value.
We are investing in our estate, strengthening our commercial offer and embedding sustainability and social value into everything we do. This is a great opportunity to shape estate strategy, support sustainability goals and deliver real impact in a forward-thinking FE environment.
We change lives, empower individuals and connect communities.
We are an ambitious, forward-thinking further education college in North London, committed to creating exceptional opportunities for our learners. Our Estates and Facilities team plays a central role in delivering safe, sustainable and high-quality environments.
We will bring strong experience in estates, property or project management, alongside proven commercial awareness, contract management capability and a solid understanding of compliance and health and safety.
You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities, influencing stakeholders and delivering high-quality outcomes in a complex, multi-site environment. Just as importantly, you’ll share our commitment to inclusion, sustainability and making a positive difference.
