The company

T3AM Global are recruiting on behalf of Ecosave, a growing sales-led business expanding its field sales operation across Manchester.

Following continued growth, the company is looking for ambitious and confident Field Sales Executives to represent the business face-to-face across the Manchester area.

This is not a traditional office-based sales position. You will be out in the field, meeting prospective customers, starting conversations and creating opportunities for experienced members of the sales team.

It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, wants to build a career in sales and would prefer being out and about rather than sitting behind a desk.

The role

As a Field Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be engaging prospective customers face-to-face across Manchester, identifying potential interest and arranging appointments for experienced members of the sales team.

You are not expected to close the full sale yourself. Your role is to open the conversation, understand the customer's initial requirements and successfully set up the next meeting.

You will take responsibility for:

• Visiting and engaging prospective customers face-to-face across Manchester
• Introducing the company and its services in a confident and professional manner
• Starting conversations and identifying potential customer requirements
• Qualifying interest and identifying genuine sales opportunities
• Booking appointments for experienced members of the sales team
• Maintaining accurate records of conversations, leads and appointments
• Working towards agreed activity and appointment-setting targets

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have:

• Confidence approaching and speaking with people face-to-face
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, outgoing and professional personality
• A motivated and target-driven approach
• Resilience and the confidence to create conversations with new people

Other DESIRABLE qualities/skills include:

• Previous field sales, appointment setting or business development experience
• Door-to-door, canvassing, promotions or brand ambassador experience
• Previous customer-facing or face-to-face sales experience
• Experience working towards sales, lead generation, or appointment targets

Previous field sales experience is desirable but not essential for someone with the right personality, confidence and attitude.
