Compliance & Review: Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns, ensuring all submission deadlines are met efficiently across the tax department.
Advisory & Planning: Assist with technical tax projects, including Capital Gains Tax (CGT) computations and bespoke planning assignments.
Direct Liaison: Work directly alongside firm directors and client managers, serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day client queries.
Team Collaboration: Support junior team members and trainees, fostering a collaborative, supportive working environment.
Job Requirements
Practice Experience: Proven track record in UK personal tax compliance within a recognised accountancy practice.
Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of self-assessment and CGT; experience handling varied personal tax portfolios.
Qualifications: ATT / CTA qualified, part-qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
Career Ambition: Driven to develop technical skills, take on project work, and progress towards a Manager level role.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable, professional manner when speaking with clients and internal stakeholders.
