Salaried Gp
Birmingham
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated salaried GP for 4-6 sessions per week. GMS practice with 11,300 patients.
We're seeking an enthusiastic and patient-centred Salaried GP to join our friendly, ambitious, and highly supportive team. This is more than just another GP position it's an opportunity to become part of a practice that invests in its people, encourages innovation, and offers a clear pathway for career progression.
At our practice, you'll be joining a team of 2 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, and an experienced multidisciplinary workforce who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. We believe that happy, supported clinicians provide the best care, which is why we have created an environment where your wellbeing, professional development, and career aspirations truly matter.
Whether you're an experienced GP looking for a fresh challenge or someone seeking a practice where you can grow and develop, you'll find a welcoming team ready to support you every step of the way.
Those of mainstream general practice, using a mixture of telephone triage, face to face and e-consultations to meet the needs of our population. You will need excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure.
Skills in minor surgery or specialist interests would be warmly welcomed.
We have no extended hours commitment so there is flexibility for post-holders to work additional roles in out of hours or other services.
You will be a full part of the practice team, taking part in Practice meetings, contributing to practice decision making and supporting staff training and QoF activity.
We have a generous holiday and educational leave allowance, and the practice will cover costs of medical indemnity. Earnings from non-NHS activities go to the GP delivering the activity. We will offer the BMA contract and honour NHS pension contributions.
Our practice has a reputation for excellence and enjoys a longstanding commitment from the local population. An area of high deprivation and with a strong community spirit, we serve many generations of families, many of whom were born in to the practice.
We achieved ' Good' in our last CQC inspection report and are active in the Greater Middlesbrough Primary Care Network.
Our premises are purpose built with excellent parking and access to local shops across the car park.
In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertakeall the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
The role also involves contributing to audits, significant event analysis, in-house education and contributing to decision making in practice meetings.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
