Trusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of an established organisation within the healthcare and specialist manufacturing sector for a Logistics Team Leader to join its Leeds operation.

This is a hands-on role where you will oversee a small team of three, taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of logistics while working closely with Production and several other departments across the business.

We're looking for someone who combines good logistics knowledge with strong people skills – someone organised, proactive and, importantly, a good team player.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a logistics team of three
Manage stock, inventory and stock checks
Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers
Oversee goods receipt, storage and despatch
Ensure materials are available to support production
Monitor Logistics KPIs and operational standards
Support training, 1-2-1s and team development
Work closely with other departments across the business
Maintain high standards of quality and Health & Safety

About You

You will ideally have experience within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing, together with previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience of stock control, purchasing and goods-in/despatch processes is important. Knowledge of SAP Business One would be advantageous but is not essential.
