• Working with the wider project team to ensure a smooth handover from estimating to delivery.
• Building knowledge of current construction methods, materials, labour rates and market conditions.

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about developing a career in estimating and has a genuine interest in the construction and commercial industry.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience or qualifications within construction, electrical engineering, building services or a related discipline.
• A good understanding of construction or electrical installations and associated materials.
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to organise your workload and work to tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• A commercial mindset and an interest in understanding how projects are priced and delivered.

Previous estimating experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong technical foundation who are looking to take the next step in their career.
