We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Care Manager (Clinical) to support the Home Manager in leading a nursing care service and ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate and high-quality care.
The Role
Provide clinical leadership to nursing and care teams.
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance requirements.
Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff.
Complete clinical audits, care plan reviews and medication oversight.
Support assessments, risk management and safeguarding processes.
Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
Take responsibility for the home in the Home Manager's absence.
About You
Previous Deputy Manager / Deputy Home Manager experience.
NMC Registered Nurse - essential.
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Experience with care planning, medication management, audits and safeguarding.
Passionate about delivering person-centred, high-quality nursing care.
