Project Manager - Consultancy

Job Summary

Built Alliance are delighted to be partnering with a globally established, sustainability-driven consultancy as they look to appoint an ambitious Project Manager to join their growing Glasgow office.

Working closely alongside hands-on Directors and senior leaders, you'll get real exposure to a broad, varied portfolio spanning government-led frameworks alongside prime residential and commercial developments, giving you genuine breadth across both public and private sector delivery. This is a role built for someone who already is operating as an Assistant or Intermediate Project Manager and is ready to lead with more autonomy, supported by a team that genuinely invests in developing its people rather than just expecting them to sink or swim, exposing you to some brilliant clientele.

Ideally, you will have already supported project delivery across all phases, from early RIBA stages through to completion, engaging with a broad mix of stakeholders including public sector bodies, private developers, funders, and design teams. You'll look to build your confidence in cost control, procurement, and contract administration, with a working knowledge of JCT/NEC frameworks, while working closely with internal cost management teams to maintain commercial oversight.

You'll also play an active role in driving sustainability, from Net Zero and embodied carbon through to wider ESG policy, alongside supporting stakeholder engagement, funding compliance and reporting.Backed by a global network yet operating with the agility of a close-knit regional team, this consultancy has built its reputation on doing things properly, balancing commercial rigour with a people-first, sustainability-led approach.

A real USP is they solely want to be best when it comes to project and cost management.

It's an environment where career progression isn't just talked about; it's actively supported, making it an ideal next move for someone looking to grow into a fuller PM role over time.
