Business Development Manager – Assessment

• Win new-logo clients and project-based assessment work across priority Industrial markets
• Identify, target, and secure new-logo clients for assessment services
• Develop and execute proactive business development strategies
• Own the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through qualification, bid submission, negotiation, and contract award
• Build senior-level relationships with stakeholders in target organisations
• Lead and contribute to strategic bids and tenders
• Shape technical scope, commercial strategy, and value propositions
• Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and delivery teams
• Maintain a robust new-business pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
• Maintain CRM hygiene and contribute to sales reporting
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client workshops

Requirements

• Proven success in winning new logo business and securing assessment-led projects in the Industrial environment
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of assessment/training opportunities
• Experience selling into complex organisations
• Demonstrable ability to originate and close high-value, project-based opportunities
• Confidence presenting technical and commercial solutions to senior & executive stakeholders
• Experience managing bids, tenders, and proposals
• Strong grasp of pricing strategy and margin control
• Right to work in the United Kingdom, subject to pre-employment checks
