Scarlet, Bedruthan & Create Cornwall

Location: Mawgan Porth, Cornwall (on site only, no remote working).

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours over 5 days. Includes one weekend day.

About Us

We're a family-owned, independent Cornish business with three award-winning brands: Scarlet, Bedruthan and Create Cornwall. People, place and purpose sit at the heart of what we do, and we're known for trailblazing ideas, innovation and our distinctive wellbeing focus.

About the Role

We're looking for a commercially sharp Head of Sales and Marketing to join the Leadership Team at Red Hotels and drive growth across Scarlet, Bedruthan and Create Cornwall.

This senior, high-impact role is for someone who can grow revenue, spot commercial opportunities and turn insight into action across hospitality, hotels, restaurants, leisure or premium lifestyle businesses.

Reporting directly to our CEO, Emma Stratton, you'll lead commercial planning, drive sales and bring marketing activity together across Scarlet, Bedruthan and Create Cornwall.

With line management responsibility for the Reservations & Sales Manager and marketing delivery team, you'll work alongside the strategic Head of Brand and Systems to shape campaigns, sales activity and on-the-floor opportunities that align with trading conditions and business priorities.

About You

You’ll already be operating in a senior commercial role and understand how great hospitality businesses grow: through smart pricing, standout guest experiences, motivated teams and activity that turns demand into revenue.

You’ll be visible in the business, confident supporting Duty Management when needed, quick to turn data into recommendations and energised by coaching teams to improve commercial performance.

You’ll receive

• A competitive annual salary, depending on experience. Salary to be discussed at interview.
• A 40-hour contract over five days, including one weekend day.
• A permanent contract with an award-winning independent hospitality business in a stunning location on the Cornish coast.
• 28 days' holiday, plus an extra day's holiday for each year of service up to five years.
• 40% off food and drink, plus team discounts across hotel services.
• Healthcare plan, wellbeing support, local discounts, free parking, temporary team accommodation if relocating, team socials and events.
